Back to Ahead

Terms

English · Español · October 2, 2026

Ahead is a heads-up about speed cameras published by California cities. It is not a city, a police department, or a court, and it is not legal advice.

You can still be cited

A pin can be missing, wrong, moved, or not yet issuing tickets. Obey the posted speed limit. Ahead does not promise that you will avoid a citation.

City data

Pins come from what the cities publish. A city can move, delay, or turn off a camera without notice. Ahead is not those cities.

Not navigation

Ahead does not give turn-by-turn directions, and it is not for an emergency. It is not a navigation system.

Driving

Do not handle the phone while the car is moving. The voice and the banner are there so you do not have to look at the screen.

Age

Ahead is for drivers 18 and older.

As is

Ahead is offered as is. To the extent the law allows, Ahead is not liable for a citation, a missed alert, a wrong location, or a route. You can stop using it at any time. Ahead can end access if the service is abused.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.
