Ahead uses your location only to warn you about a camera nearby.
What stays on the phone
Language, voice, alert distance, and the fact that you agreed to these terms are stored on your device. A trip is not saved. Ahead does not ask for your name and does not sell your location.
What is not collected
There is no account. Ahead does not keep a record of where you drove or how fast you were going. If a sponsor appears later, it will be labeled as paid, and location will still not be sold.
California
You can ask what Ahead has about you and ask for it to be deleted. Because trips are not stored off your phone, deleting the app removes what Ahead kept. Write to aheadcams562@gmail.com. This address may change.
Reports
If you mark a camera as not here, warning only, or new, Ahead stores that report. A new camera stores that spot, not the trip and not the speed. The official pin does not move until the city confirms it. The report has no name on it.
Age
Ahead is for people 18 and older, and it is not directed at children.
